Monochrome mode possible with Compiz?

Hi

I work late hours on mostly non-picture screens...browsers, forms, data-frontends. I suffer from Circadian Rhythm Disorder and I would like to totally eliminate blue light from monitor, during night hours. Blue Light filters only reduce it, they don't eliminate it.

If someone is old enough to have used monochrome monitors of the old days of the PC, I would like to emulate them with Red monochrome screens. Is it possible to use compiz to somehow emulate monochrome mode and select Red colour for it, instead of Green?

I would be happy to learn of Compiz's ability for this or any other solution for the same. I use Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
