What's up with the website? Is it still alive?

Looking at the website makes it seem like Compiz is dead. The site is so outdated.

Can we replace it with one made with Meteor? (http://meteor.com)

There are some parts of compiz.org that are no longer maintaned. The front page is up-to-date as of the 0.9.12.2 release (which happened 2015.08.20).

If you want to get involved and maintain the compiz.org web presence, try using the #compiz channel on freenode.org and contacting iXice.
