anyone having a build error related to protobuf?

I get this build error:
CMakeFiles/compizconfig.dir/compizconfig.pb.cc.o: In function `GoogleOnceInit':
/usr/include/google/protobuf/stubs/once.h:115: undefined reference to `pthread_once'

"sudo apt-get autoremove" solved whaterver mess was on my system
