Does this problem appear when you run the executable from the IDE or when you run the program from windows explorer? Which version of OpenCobolIDE are you using?

Since version 2.0, executable is located in a bin folder next to your sources and the required dll should be there too. Otherwise you can find those dll in the OpenCobol folder next to the OpenCobolIDE executable.
