What has to be migrated and to where?

Asked by advocatux

I wanted to try CloudMusic today but on the first run a message says that it has to "migrate", without any more info.

What has to be migrated and to where?

Regards.

Hi, this function was implemented to allow users that have old playlists able to use the new api, if this is the first time you try cloud music then no migration is required but the message still appear because i did not found a way to ensure that there is no previous database, sorry for the poor info in the app.

Regards.

Hi, as the present screen is a little confusing for people running CloudMusic for the first time, maybe you can add something like "This migration is to ensure your previous database works properly. If you haven't run CloudMusic before, click the button anyway and you'll have a fresh database".

Well, that's a lot of words, but you get the idea. I'm sure you can shrink it and tell it better.

Thank you for your work.

Regards.
