cannot quarentine infected files

Asked by Joel Stein

When I view the results of my scan I find 50 infected files. I am unable to figure out how to deal with them though. I've tried everything I can think of but have been unsuccessful. I have read the "help" file and no help there. I am running Ubuntu 14.04,

Hi Joel,

Two things:

1. It probably means you do not have the permissions to delete those files.

2. Be *very* careful what you're deleting. Can you give me an idea of which files are triggering, and what they're called? If they being with "PUA" then they may not be such a problem. I recommend unchecking the "scan for PUAs" option in settings.

Thanks,
Dave M
