Redirect after login to ~siteurl/citrusdb/....

Asked by LeRoy Grubbs on 2012-05-14

Redirect after login to ~siteurl/citrusdb/.... is failing. The full url: https://www.siteurl.com/citrusdb/... exists but after login I'm getting https://www.siteurl.com/~siteurl/citrusdb/...

I have changed the config file lines:

$url_prefix = "http://www.siteurl.com/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk";
$ssl_url_prefix = "https://www.siteurl.com/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk";

to a few different configurations but have yet to get it to work.

I do not have a .htaccess file
I do have a subdomain that is behaving the same way. citrusdb.siteurl.com/citrusdb/...

any ideas would be appreciated.

Still trying figure out why the url https://www.siteurl.com/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk is getting obfusicated into https://www.siteurl.com/~siteurl/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk after I enter the default username and password on the login screen as per the documentation.

Hope for assistance with CitrusDB script and rewrite issue here. I expected this to be caused by the server with rewrite but deleted .htaccess.

What could be causing this?: https://www.siteurl.com/~siteurl/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk the ~siteurl is getting inserted into the full address causing it to fail. https://www.siteurl.com/citrusdb/citrusdb_trunk would be correct.

This must be a misconfiguration in your http or https server settings. either looking in the log files or maybe look at the live headers as it redirect you to figure out what it is doing.

Can you help with this problem?
