Totem Plugin not working on Chromium Ubuntu PPA builds

There seems to be some issue with totem plugin in Ubuntu PPA's build of chromium. I had created following bug for totem plugin not working:

But I noticed that this seems to only happen in Ubuntu PPA's build. When using google chrome builds, 64-bit and 32-bit, plugin seems to work OK.

It seems like the chromium-browser-sandbox is causing this issue. When I replace the chromium-browser-sandbox from Ubuntu PPA build with the one from google dev deb, totem plugin loads. So it seems like Ubuntu PPA build's sandbox is doing something that is not letting the totem plugin find gstreamer modules.

Maybe it wasn't replacing the sandbox file...but how i was launching it. When i use the shortcut to launch, i.e via just chromium-browser, then totem fails. But if I launch the browser via full path or from with in the chromium-browser directory, totem loads correctly. Seems like /usr/bin/chromium-browser seems to be the issue.

I can confirm this
As ktp420 said, launching chromium from usr/lib solde this problem with totem plugin

The bug is marked fixed but still not working in ubuntu ppa build...4.0.239.0 (Ubuntu build 31231)

The same form me. Totem is not working with the PPA build
