chromium-browser needs new libgconf2-dev dependency

Asked by Livio Soares

Dear folks packaging chromium browser,

Thanks for your work! It has been fun to try out the daily chromium browser builds for Linux.
Unfortunately, the build has been failing for the last 2-3 days. It seems that the chromium
dependency list has changed, and now include "libgconf2-dev":

http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxBuildInstructionsPrerequisites

According to the build logs, compilation is failing with:

/build/buildd/chromium-browser-2.0.176.0~svn20090422r14200/build-tree/src/net/proxy/proxy_config_service_linux.cc:7:32: error: gconf/gconf-client.h: No such file or directory

Could any of the maintainers add libgconf2-dev to the list of dependency packages?

Thank you,

Livio

Package maintainer is Fabien Tassin ( https://edge.launchpad.net/~fta ). I tried contacting him a couple of days ago by sending e-mail, but he didn't reply.
