Which repository should I use for daily use?

Asked by Willem Ligtenberg

I want to use the chromium browser for day to day use, should I go for https://launchpad.net/~chromium-daily/+archive/ppa or https://launchpad.net/~chromium-daily/+archive/beta

Is the one ending on ppa way to unstable? Does the one ending on beta lack important features?
Or should I just install the Chrome version for Linux?

There is no need to use Chrome instead of Chromium.

You should definitely use the "beta" repository for a productive system. The "daily" PPA can crash at any time and is only meant for testing purpose. As the PPA description states:
"it contains completely untested builds, mostly useful to track regressions or if you are curious, or just brave."

Can you help with this problem?
