New release before the release of Lucid?

Asked by Moritz Baumann

I've just started to translate the checkbox package in lucid and stumbled upon some strings containing instructions which can no longer be followed since e.g. the audio applet has been changed.
Will a new version of checkbox be released for lucid in which these strings have been corrected? If so, when will I be able to translate the new messages?

Regards,
Moritz

I could try to push a new point release tomorrow, what's the problematic string? Could you propose a new string?

Strings which need to be changed (numbers as in trunk):

#25, #27, #28: You now have to left-click on the icon and click on »Sound Preferences...« (with dots)
#33: The user switch applet no longer exists, so steps 1,2,3,5 and 6 should be corrected. To switch the user, you now have to:
  1) click on the logout button
  2) select »switch from [$username]...«
  3) no window appears, but the login screen, I don't own a fingerprint reader so I don't know what the user has to do there to login via fingerprint...
#34: The user switch applet no longer exists, so you have to click on the logout button and select »Lock screen« then. Again, I can't test the fingerprint authentication procedure.

All of them also appear in the Ubuntu package, they just have different numbers.

In the current package for lucid there is one more (number as in the Ubuntu package now):

#54: Has already been changed in trunk (#45 there is the correct alternative)
