cGmail

New Checker window will not allow new account

I try to add my Gmail account to the cGmail "New Checker" window either in the form xxxx or <email address hidden> together with the password and the OK button will not close the window nor add the account. This happens whether the cGmail service is running or not.

I am using cGmail 0.6.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. I have no problems to connecting any other network resources including Gmail web client. Sorry I forgot to put this in my original post!

Figured it out. cGmail installed with its configuration folder belonging to root so cGmail didn't have account configuration write permissions when I ran it. I just gave myself write permissions on the /home/xxxx/.config/cGmail/ folder and problem solved when cGmail could write the required config file.
