The metrics relationship between Ceilometer and Nova compute driver

hi stackers, I assume all the metrics list provided by Ceilometer is on this link: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/ceilometer/measurements.html. As for the Nova compute, I didn't see any VM specific metrics. such as the cpu utilization of VM, does that mean user have to get those kind of data from compute driver? Thanks.
