Cardapio + Cairo Dock + Xubuntu = No menu

Asked by Jani Pitkänen

I have installed cardapio and cardapio-gnomeshell

Installed Cardapio-plugin drag'n dropping to Cairo Dock from here --> http://www.glx-dock.org/mc_album.php?a=8

Xubuntu 12.04
Cairo Dock 3.0.0
Cardapio 0.9.194

If I click the menu button, icon just jumps (Like it is supposed to) but nothing else happens.

Typing "cardapio" into terminal opens the menu and everything works.
Making "Custom launcher" to Cairo Dock launches it, but there is problems.
It launches in the middle of the screen (Where I do not want it, can not relocate it with compiz "place windows"-option). Sometimes have to click the button twice to show menu.

Any help?

try creating a custom launcher with "cardapio show-near-mouse". I would say it was an issue with the plugin itself.

Did that, but it opens slightly under the Cairo Dock :D

Should open approx 1cm higher, or on top of the dock. Any idea for that?

Thanks for your reply =)

More info: I have the custom launcher in bottom dock, not upper.

move your mouse to where you want cardapio to open. The command is "cardapio show-near-mouse", so it will show up where your mouse cursor is.

Can you help with this problem?
