Assigning "Show folder content" to a mouse button or key.

Asked by Otto Robba

I would like to know if it is possible to assign the "Show folder content" to a single key instead of having to right-click and then select it. Or at least have mouse hover act like tabbing (so that using a "/" would open the folder you are hovering with the mouse).

Maybe assigning "Show folder content" to middle mouse button or even a click with a modifier key (ctrl).

Using Cardapio AWN, latest version.
(Cardapio 0.9.185)

Thanks for proposing this. I just updated Cardapio trunk with a solution to your problem: from now on you can peek inside folders by clicking while using the Shift key :)

I will update the PPA in a day or two.

Thanks, that is awesome. I guess I'll use nautilus even less now hehe :)

Just pushed this to the PPA. Give it an hour or two to go through :)
