When I click on Cardapio, docky does not hide and overlapps it

I use a vertical docky on the left side of my screen and Cardapio on the upper panel left side So When I click on Cardapio, docky does not hide and overlapps it (I prefer docky to be on Intellihide mode).
So this makes cardapio almost unusable for me. plese tell me solution for this issue ASAP as I am really looking forward to switch into cardapio.

I will also submit a bug report on this issue but would appreciate an early answer whether its possible or not.

Currently (with the current PPA) it's not possible BUT... The code which will do this is getting there as we speak!

I've been working on native Docky support for Cardapio and it's pretty much done. You can track the progress and see some screenshots here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cardapio/+bug/660620

We've also prepared a Cardapio's helper for Docky. This means, you could stop using the Cardapio panel applet all together and instead rely on the launcher for Cardapio on Docky only.

No more "show-near-mouse" hacks, just wait a little more.

PS. it will be location indepent so it'll work on top, left, right or bottom of your screen, wherever you want it.

I'm sorry, I misinterpreted your question. I've seen this bug somewhere and I don't remember whether it was decided if it's Cardapio's or Docky's fault. I'm sure it hasn't been resolved though. Maybe Thiago will shed some light on this.

Anyway, you can still benefit from my previous answer if you'd like to use the launcher instead of applet. Cardapio will appear near to your dock, thus not under it. ;)
