Soportará cardapio themes en un futuro?

Asked by tutingo on 2010-06-17

Gracias

Sorry if I got it wrong but if I could get it translated correctly (with Google Translate …), you are asking for theme support like in GnoMenu. Theming is not going to be supported in Cardápio as in GnoMenu, to quote tvst (the developer of Cardápio):
»About themes:
I plan on making Cardapio more gtkrc-friendly, so you would be able to change the look of all widgets from your gtkrc theme file.
But this is not the same as you are asking for. Full-fledged themeing, a la GnoMenu, is probably not going to happen. I want Cardapio to stay simple, fast, and effective, and high levels of themability don't go well with that mantra. Sorry.«

(Also, in the future please try to ask your questions in English as Launchpad aims to be an English-only platform to offer help for the majority of people.)

Yes, Jan-Christoph is right about theming. Cardapio will be themable through your Gnome theme (gtkrc), but it will never be able modified as extremely as GnoMenu.

However, even the current version of Cardapio should fit in with every other Gnome application. So I don't understand why you say it doesn't look well-integrated. If you believe this is a bug, please open a new bug report (and a post a screenshot :) )

About Tracker support:
You are right that Cardapio requires Tracker 0.9 or greater. I mention this on the Cardapio homepage at https://launchpad.net/cardapio , but maybe I should give it more prominence.

I hope this answers your question.

From Google translate, plus some manual edits:

Ok, Cardapio should now be easily themable through usual GTK (gtkrc) themes.

To see the names of the Cardapio widgets, either check the cardapio.ui glade file or use GTK Parasite (http://chipx86.github.com/gtkparasite).

Can you help with this problem?
