Email address verification mail contains incorrect URL

Having just registered an account, I got the email address verification mail which contained this link: http://login.launchpad<email address hidden>. I clicked the link and logged in, and was pretty surprised to get a 404. After a while I noticed that it was a HTTP URL, and after manually changing the scheme to HTTPS it worked.
