Password requirements are too strict

Minimum 8 characters, must contain a mix of lower and uppercase letters.

It's too strict. Most people using this site can pick a good password. And it's hardly high security. Why make things more difficult for everyone by complaining about the password chosen!

My password is many random lowercase characters and a few numbers. But I you're saying I need a capital letter in there too?

We're aware of this issue and have plans to address it soon. Bug #821727 will be used to track that work
