When will the transition happen for which site

Asked by Stuart Metcalfe

Created from bug #536668.

The original announcement says: "Over the next few months we will be moving all of the Ubuntu and Canonical related sites that currently use the Launchpad service to this service, starting with sites we manage directly and then working with community site owners to move the community-managed sites."

User, 'lesmana' asked "When will the transition happen for which site?"

We don't currently have a more solid roadmap for the migrations than what has already been stated in the original announcements (ie: over the next few months), I'm afraid. The switch should generally be fairly straightforward but each site will need to make some changes, both to its configuration and to its user database, to support the migration. We also don't want to just dump all of the login activity onto the new service until we've ironed out any early wrinkles and are confident that it will handle the anticipated load.

Changing this to 'Answered' (not 'Solved') in the hope that the lp janitor will leave it alone.
