How will LP profile access happen with this?

I run a LoCo web site that would like to use information from users' Launchpad profiles in addition to just authentication, such as real name and location. (For the latter, for things like "what's the nearest release party to me?") How will that sort of thing work with the new system? (As I understand it, before I would have just asked for them to be included in the passed information when adding the trust root for my site.)

The new service will behave in exactly the same way, so all of the information you've previously relied on should continue to be available to you. For now, we will obtain this data from the same source in Launchpad. We will be contacting community site owners with existing trust roots registered in the Launchpad service as soon as we are ready to switch them over.
