Command line support?

Asked by Chris Kittler

Does it Support strictly command line inputs without the GUI? I need to reinstall my desktop environment for ubuntu because I accidently purged the desktop environment PPA so I need to run it strictly out of the terminal, as I am unable to login past the login screen. Thanks! Oh and I also have a separate Windows 7 machine as well as a usb Wi-Fi version of mint 17.x.x.

Hello, thank you for asking :)

You can create your project using this script, this is called Cube ASsistive Tool or CAST. It is a terminal script use to create a project, generate package or repository download script for linux and windows and install them also.

Download the zip here
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxNsCkhtVdsEbkswR1ZIelZsbGc/edit?usp=docslist_api

And extract it to your cube folder.

To run this script, follow these steps (All without quotes)
1. Press CTRL+ALT+T
2. Type 'cd cube'
3. Type 'chmod +x cast'
4. Type './cast'

Just follow the menu and prompts, I guess the create project is at option (1). After creating a project, you should able to see your project inside the project folder :) You can now transfer that project to your windows and use the cube gui to download what you want.

You can use also the cast to install those packages.
DISCLAIMER : This script is still in development and not yet released in public. Use at your own risk.

Can you help with this problem?
