cube unable to connect to internet on a windows PC with internet routed through proxy host

I am trying to dowload packages using Cube package on a windows computer. The software is not able to connect to internet even after setting aria's proxy parameter "--all-proxy=http://username:pwd@proxy-host:port).".

After setting the proxy, when I try to reload repositories, all the repositories show failed updated status.

How to solve this problem?

Thank you for sending your problem.

First, please check if Aria2c is set as default downloader than Axel, just click the radio button assigned to Aria2c.

Second, if the proxy parameter "--all-proxy=http://username:pwd@proxy-host:port)." doesn't work at all, you might try to check for Aria2c documentation and try another parameter concerning proxy settings:
http://aria2.sourceforge.net/manual/en/html/aria2c.html

Third, please check if the proxy settings you have supplied to cube are correct.

Fourth, if the above steps fails, then the best way to do is to remove proxy permissions to your computer.
