Implementation of FeynRules model(s)

Asked by goindrila

Hi,

I have been using the simplified dark matter model(s) DMsimp from the FeynRules model database feynrules.irmp.ucl.ac.be/wiki/DMsimp to generate CalcHEP model files intended for MicrOmegas. I keep getting CH error 134 with message " Error in table 'Constraints' line xx field 'Expression' position xx: unknown variable 'Generation' " when I import them and run CHECK MODEL in CalcHEP.

>>
I1a12 |yd(Index(Generation,2),Index(Generation,1)) % Abbreviation used in optimizatized FeynRules outpu
I1a13 |yd(Index(Generation,3),Index(Generation,1)) % Abbreviation used in optimizatized FeynRules outpu
I1a21 |yd(Index(Generation,1),Index(Generation,2)) % Abbreviation used in optimizatized FeynRules outpu
I1a23 |yd(Index(Generation,3),Index(Generation,2)) % Abbreviation used in optimizatized FeynRules outpu
I1a31 |yd(Index(Generation,1),Index(Generation,3)) % Abbreviation used in optimizatized FeynRules outpu

and so on.

funcN.mdl runs into trouble even though the index 'Generation' is declared in the SM.fr file which is usually loaded along with modelname.fr to produce model files for CalcHEP. Please help!

In use:
FeynRules version 2.3.9
CalcHEP version 3.6.25

Thanks,
Oindrila

Dear Oindrila,

please send us your model (in CalcHEP format) attached to
<email address hidden>
so we could understand wether the problem is on the FR or CalcHEP side

I can already see that the problem is on the FR side. Please contact me directly at <email address hidden>.

Best wishes,
Neil

Dear CalcHEP and FeynRules team,

Thank you so much for the support! I contacted the authors of the model files and it became apparent that there were some issues with formatting on the FR front which were eventually fixed. CalcHEP has declared the models to be OK and they are working fine in MicrOmegas now.

Cheers,
Oindrila
