problem with process pp->t,T,2l

Asked by ahh

Hi there
i was tryinng to simulate the process pp->t,T,2l ,with decy of t->W,q
to have afinal state of 4l+missing Et
but , it couldnt generate events while the error not exceded 20%
Cheers

Hi Ahmed,

20% error is not acceptable,
that is why you can not generate a reasonable number of events.
In case of narrow resonances (i.e. Higgs boson -> mu+ mu-)
you should use regularisation option.
One an error is ~ 1%, there will be no problem with the event generation.
