After the last upgrade of Ubuntu 14.04 Cairo-Dock won't start (sig 11)

Asked by Aaack Aardvark

Hey guys!

Welp, today I had a bunch of upgrades for my computer, so I went ahead and upgraded them. Since it was a while since the last reboot and there was a ton of X-sever updates I decided to go ahead and just reboot my computer.

Cario-dock never ran again, however my startup apps did, so I used one to open a terminal and run cairo dock from the terminal. This is the log:

spike@Verovamped:~$ cairo-dock

Now, this happened also after I enabled the dbus plugin, so in spite I wasn't able to disable the DBus complement from the maintenance mode I just killed the dæmon and disabled all the options of DBus in maintenance mode and tried again.

Hi,

This bug should be fixed if you're using our Weekly ppa! (this should was due to a change in the 3.3.99.beta version)

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Aaack Aardvark for more information if necessary.
