I have a black box around my dock. The box is the there if I open the GLX-Dock or Cairo-Dock options. I have compiz running. My windows wobble...

What do I do to remove the box?

Hello,

I think it's due to your drivers => http://www.glx-dock.org/ww_page.php?p=Recurrents%20problems&lang=en
So there is two solutions:
 * Don't use the OpenGL backend
 * Try to use the latest version of ATI drivers (but I think it's maybe better to upgrade your distribution...)

Thank you! For all the google searching I, did I never did end up at the Cairo-Dock site. I feel pretty dumb. I'm pretty new at this linux thing, and people like you are helping me get better at finding answers.

Cairo-Dock is working beautifully now. Thanks again for your time.
