Caffeine

Can't find preferences/settings of caffeine

Hello, I'am not able to find settings or preferences option for caffeine nowhere in system(as far as i know) or by using tray icon. Now, i have Ubuntu 14.04 beta and caff. v. 2.6.2 bzr559. I'am only asking cause i saw recent reviews of this app and all of them were pointing on handy settings that could be set in preferences window of caffeine. But it seem I can't locate it. Do I have some dev version that has this feature temporarily disabled or is it as it was intended, caffeine not to have additional options? Thank you in advance:)

I have the same question, namely where are the settings or preferences option for Caffeine 2.6.2?

I'll just add that, because I can't find the settings or preferences option for Caffeine 2.6.2, I'm running Caffeine 2.5 (bzr 532 for Saucy) on Ubuntu 14.04, and that version seems to be working fine.

This is effecting me as well. Where are the preferences in 2.6.2? I'm running it in 14.04.. looking all over, even running caffeine-preferences in the terminal yields no result. Can anyone look into this?? It would be great to be able to add to the preferences, rather than doing it manually every time.

Just instaled caffeine on 14.04 and face the same problem! On my 12.04 machine the settings are there...

I'am now just answering to myself rightnow.. but if i was not imageing it, i guess i saw that caff activeted by itself when using certain kind of programs. Most of the time i had to do it myself tho.. maybe devs tryied to automatize it but didn't cover all possible programs with which this tool would be automatically ..you know activated

I had the same problem.

So I downloaded the 2.5 tarball and am running it directly - ./bin/caffeine - and it seems to work fine, and still has the preferences and everything.

Ok. If you're running Caffeine 2.7.2 and nothing happens then it's nothing wrong as 2.7 version is now non-configurable and automated. If you want the old tray icon and options back, try earlier versions.
