Bzr split: how remote branches find out when pulling from a split branch

Asked by elferdo

I have one project shared over two places (home and work). I did a split at work that worked successfully. Then, when I came home I did a pull, just to find out that the split branch was being deleted by bazaar. Well, no problem, revert, local split, update, that's all. But that leaves me wondering, is there any way in which a split can be replicated to remote branches using pull?

Thanks a lot!

There's not at the moment, but when we have a fuller implementation of nested branches this should work. That will probably be at least a few releases off.

Can you help with this problem?
