Windows build instructions

Asked by Dan Hughes

Would it be possible for someone to post updated instructions to the wiki on how to build the Windows binary version of bzr that includes everything that is in the current Windows binary releases? There have been three releases of bzr, 1.13.1, 1.14rc1 and now 1.14rc2 without builds for Windows. If there were detailed instructions on how to do the builds we might be able to do them ourselves so that we start testing and using the later versions of bzr without needing to wait for official releases to be made.

Thanks,

Dan Hughes

I think you are looking for:
http://bazaar-vcs.org/BzrWin32Installer

I'm not sure how up to date it is though.
I think they added more plugins recently like rebase,
and also added https://launchpad.net/subvertpy which is required for
the new bzr-svn IIRC.
There might be more changes, but I'm not the expert on this.

John Arbash Meinel and Sidnei da Silva have been doing builds, and should be able to update or correct anything on those pages. You can either mail them or mail the list, or reopen this question with anything that seems to be incorrect.

If you would like to help with doing builds, and upload them in to the releases that would be really greatly appreciated by our users because we do need faster builds and uploads. Open another question and we'll see about allowing you to upload.

Can you help with this problem?
