Is it possible to use bzr 1.3 and bzr 0.17 on the same repository?

I'm using bzr 0.17 on Linux with a shared repository. I'm staying at 0.17 because of Bug #135320.
Bzr 1.3 is installed on my Windows XP machine.
My working tree on Windoze is created by
'bzr co --light-weigth sftp://vvw@gvdev/...'.

Is committing changes to my central repository with Win-Bzr-1.3 and Linux-Bzr-0.17 mixed dangerous (because of the mix with 1.3 and 0.17)?

I'll use bzr 1.6 on both systems when it is officially released.
