Does Bazaar 1.4 reduce the RAM footprint of Branch and Push?

Asked by TimeHorse

I am currently using Bazaar 1.3.1 and more often than not am experiencing memory errors and segmentation faults when I try to branch or push my edits to the python source. What is most vexing is that these memory errors always occur at the very last step, the Finishing step, so after waiting and waiting for my repository to upload or download I get a failure that is unrecoverable and have to start again all because that finish step requires far too much RAM. Is the RAM footprint smaller in Bazaar 1.4? Can this problem be resolved at any point? Is there a way of running Bazaar with a low memory footprint??? Thanks!

BTW, the memory error of which I speak is specified in this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzr/+bug/224150 with the only difference that I have confirmed the bug on 1.3.1 as well.
