Is there still an active developpement of Bazaar for Windows?

Asked by P. Mergey

I currently use Bazaar 2.6b1 for Windows (with Bazaar Explorer 1.3.0dev, codename "Leif Ericson") which was released more than four years ago now, in mid-March 2012 (https://launchpad.net/bzr/2.6/2.6b1).

I have seen that three new different versions have been released since this date, such as version 2.6b2 in July 2012, version 2.6.0 one year later and a new version 2.7.0 at the beginning of this year (https://launchpad.net/bzr/+download).

None of these three new versions includes a Windows Standalone Installer. This fact is not necessarily unexpected, given that the Bazaar Explorer project does not seem to have significant improvements since July 2012 (https://launchpad.net/bzr-explorer/1.3).

Thus, I wonder if the development of a Windows Standalone Installer is still active and if an upcoming release can be expected in the future.

Should I consider the automatic closing above as a kind of reply?

There was a thread about building an installer for 2.7.0 https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/bazaar/2016q1/thread.html but nothing (yet ;) came out of it.

This thread is already an beginning of answer.
Although these exchanges are dated from early this year, they are still more recent than what I had found so far...
Thank you.
