BZR: Connection Timeout: disconnecting client after 300.0 seconds

I am trying to clone "lp:codership-mysql", but it fails with the following error :

$ bzr branch lp:codership-mysql 5.6
Connection Timeout: disconnecting client after 300.0 secondsimate 1174205/1183598
bzr: ERROR: Connection closed: Unexpected end of message. Please check connectivity and permissions, and report a bug if problems persist.

Same happens when I try to clone lp:codership-mysql/5.5.

$ bzr --version
