.zip win32 binary distribution

Asked by Brian Sidebotham

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to add a simple .zip of the win32 binaries to your downloads for a recent release?

Nowadays I don't really want to install things, I'd rather run things in separated environments and my I'd like my dev environments to be built with cmake. This can download an archive and extract it locally (thus "installing" it into this environment). But there have been no .zip releases for some time. As python is not always available in this environment it is best that I use the standalone binaries.

Another option would be to run a quiet local installation, but as far as I can tell there is no --quiet or /Q option for the bzr windows installer.

Thank-you very much for bzr, I use it every day and have found it a very intuitive way to work!

Actually, don't worry about this one guys. I just started a new project (bzr-win-zip) to deal with this problem for the project I was working on.

Sorry for the noise!
