Beginner's question : create, add, ignore

Asked by Ferenc Nagy on 2011-11-22

Gentle advisors,
I have a Visual Prolog sample program.
I copied it to a folder "Showfont".
What do the icons mean before the elements of the shown tree?
How can I insert it into Bazaar, and follow my changes from the original state?
I want to ignore the "OBJ32" subfolder and the "*.gid" and "*.bak" files.
Regards

Where are you looking? Can you show me a screen shot?

Edit the .bzrignore file, and add

 /obj32
 *.gid
 *.bak

Dear Martin,

I could do my starting steps.
Now I could insert the demo program in Bazaar.
How can I send screen shots to this mailing lists?
I rather send the history of my DOS commands.

Ah, ok, I thought by 'icons' you meant you were using a gui.

What is the actual question then?

Ferenc Nagy (nagy-frank) said : #4

The #1 actual question is:
How can I send a screen copy to this mailing list?
a) Can I directly attach a picture to my question?
b) I have a homepage where I can upload the picture and I refer its link in the plain text.

The #2 actual question is:
I tried to use the gui but the old fashioned DOS window is more reliable.
What do the icons mean no the gui?

Vincent Ladeuil (vila) said : #5

You can't attach a picture here, so b) sounds like the best way to progress here.

Can you help with this problem?
