Need alternative configuration file location

I need a portable code repository. Bazaar is close, I can run it from a usb drive via portable python, but Bazaar writes its config files to the local hard drive. Is there an install option or command-line option to specify a non-standard location for the config files? Using Windows...

BZR_HOME should do the trick... but I'm not familiar enough with portable python to give you the exact steps to set it. You'll probably have to fix either the script you use to launch any bazaar command or your workstation environment variables. The later being less than ideal if I understand your needs correctly.
