Packaging bzr-externals?

Asked by Florian Rathgeber

Are there any plans for packaging bzr-externals as a Debian/Ubuntu package? Not necessarily in the official repositories, a PPA would be great for a start. I'm asking because we consider using it in our group and a package allows for much easier deployment.

There seems to be a packaging branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~andrewsomething/bzr-externals/packaging

Any further plans for packaging?

Thanks to Andrew for creation package, but I've never worked with PPA and I don't know what next to do with it.

It's as simple as setting up a launchpad source package recipe, which I've already done merging Andrew's packaging branch with the trunk: https://code.launchpad.net/~amcg/+recipe/bzr-externals-amcg-builder

Have you thought in applying for the packaging to be included in Debian/Ubuntu?
