The benifit of Tags

I want to use Tags for organizing my snippets so I did the following steps:

1) Created a Shared Repository
2) Created four Plain Branches
3) Edited tags for each Plain Branch

How I can browse (or search) tags of whole four Plain Branches ?

The tags does not shared between branches, each branch has its own tags. You can run Log for entire shared repo, it will show you consolidated log for all branches. You'll see the tags there and can search for them as well.
