Mac OS X 10.6 binary?

Asked by Eric Ferraiuolo

Wow! I read through the install instructions to get the Bzr Explorer setup on OS X, and it doesn't seem to conform to the project's vision:

"Bazaar Explorer is a desktop application providing an easy-to-use interface to the Bazaar version control system. It is designed to be simple enough for casual users of version control, yet powerful enough for experts to be productive."

Could there be a Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 binaries (installers) built to go along with the Windows Installer?

The Bazaar2.0.0-4.pkg is a 10.6 binary, but I don't believe it includes
Bzr Explorer or PyQt... :(

We've talked about it on bzr-mac and didn't get too far. IIRC the person
doing the packaging would prefer a native Mac gui, and didn't want to
work out how to package PyQt + Bazaar Explorer. (I could be wrong.)

As explained on http://bazaar-vcs.org/MacOSXDownloads, a "desktop" installer for OS X is under development. The developer taking on this task (https://launchpad.net/~verterok) made good progress on this last weekend, so I believe a desktop installer for Leopard is close. Snow Leopard and Tiger will follow after that IIUIC.

We intend to continue to offer the core installer as well.

Bazaar Explorer is bundled into Mac OS X installer for bzr itself. Check downloads on https://launchpad.net/bzr page.
