How to ignore unversioned files ?

Asked by Syl

I have some unversioned files in my working directory I'd like to ignore.
In the main window, under "what's next", it says "add, ignore or remove unversioned files", but I only see a + icon which will add the unversioned files...

The only way I found to do this is to create a .bzrignore file (Options > Ignored Files > Ignored files in the tree doesn't create a .bzrignore file, it warns it can't find it and exits) and add the files and directories manually.

Isn't there a nice window with qbzr ?

(sorry for the translation, but I installed it in english, and I still have mixed translation in english and french, so I'm not really sure if these are the same sentences in english)

The recommended way to ignore files to to edit the .bzrignore file in the root directory of your project. The menu action "Settings > Ignores > Working Tree Ignores" *should* open this file for you. If it doesn't do that, please report it as a bug mentioning information like:

* your operating system
* your configured text editor, if any.

Can you help with this problem?
