Wrong configuration dialog ?

Asked by Hibou57 (Yannick Duchêne)

Hi all,

Wonder what is going on, can't get the Bzr configuration dialog from within Bazaar Explorer anymore. It was there, I've seen it at least once, but I could not find it any more, so I checked to documentation, and it confirms it should be where I expected it to be, except it's not there.

The documentation in:
http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/explorer/en/tutorials/foss-contribute.html#configuration
says to hit the Configuration button, to get a dialog with these tabs: General, Alias, Bug Trackers, User Interface, Diff, Merge.
But when I click this button, I have a box with these tabs instead: Identity, Plugins, Notifications.

What's wrong ?

Oh, I could figure now, and I suggest to update the documentation to say about this trap: the content of Configuration, changes depending on Preferences. If Preferences/Applications/Suite is set to gtk, then the Configuration box is one box, and if it is set to qbzr, then Configuration is another box.

The documentation refers to a configuration where Preferences/Applications/Suite is set to qbzr only.

That's really a user trap.
