Which icon to use for desktop file?

Asked by Julian Aloofi on 2010-05-29

I'm currently creating a package for bzr-explorer for Fedora (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=596746 ).
Now I saw you don't supply an icon for bzr-explorer in the release tarball.

My question now is, which icon would you like to see being used? The one you also use for the launchpad page (https://launchpadlibrarian.net/28245614/bazaar-explorer-64.png), or a plain bzr one (or something else)?
Just thought I'd ask you before just taking the one from the launchpad page.

Currently Explorer using plain Bazaar ico in its About dialog. Also the same icon used in custom windows installer and as icon of desktop shortcuts on Windows. I think it's better to use bzr logo as icon for explorer and in Fedora.

You can get different icon sizes from http://wiki.bazaar.canonical.com/LogoOptions
