Color selection from menu

Asked by SabreWolfy

byobu version 5.7
Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06

I know byobu-select-profile.

Where/how did I see color selection from a menu? My F9 in either screen or tmux mode does not include selecting colors from a menu list. I'm sure I saw it somewhere...?

Sorry, that functionality was deprecated.

You can press ctrl-alt-F5 to set the background to a random color.
And you can use the byobu-select-profile to choose from a list. And
you can manually edit ~/.byobu/color.

I'm hoping to slowly deprecate all of the F9 menu and replace the
functionality with stand alone utilities. The F9 menu depends on the
python-newt package, which, unfortunately isn't available in all
environments that are running byobu these days.

[ctrl-SHIFT-F5 I think, although this shows ;6~ for me over an SSH link, but that's probably a terminal mapping issue.]
