byobu

byobu -list will not show current sessions

I am running Ubuntu Meerkat with byobu 3.5. byobu -list no longer lists any existing screen sessions. screen -list succeeds, however. To reattach to existing sessions, I now bypass byobu and invoke screen -r, directly. (byobu -r session.name no longer works, either.) byobu 2.68 executed these same tasks correctly. Is this just an issue of setting locally appropriate env variables?

Hmm, I'm not able to reproduce this here:

kirkland@x200:~$ byobu -v
byobu version 3.5
Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06

kirkland@x200:~$ byobu -list
There is a screen on:

The problem was that my local configuration conflicts with the changes made in byobu from 2.68 to 3.5. In ~/.byobu/windows, I normally include a sessionname directive. When this is removed
from the windows control file and byobu is freshly restarted, "byobu -list" works as expected. I apologize if this was in the byobu documentation and I missed it; I found no mention of any
such conflict in the byobu manpages. Could such a note of warning be included in the appropriate man page? This is significantly different behaviour than byobu 2.68 in Lucid.
