Can we release the new version into ubuntu lucid?

I've been using the PPA version for a while and it works fine, especially the nest detection! Can we push to lucid stable so that I don't have to change all my servers to PPA?

Sorry, no, changing the major version in Lucid is not an option.
That's an Ubuntu policy, has nothing to do with Byobu. Sorry.
