cpu freq color does not end

Asked by Mark Faine

Using the tarball installed on Red Hat Enterprise 5.4 the white text on blue background begins just after the 'x' in cpu frequency and continues to the end of the screen. Brackets below show where the color starts and ends.

RedHatEnterpriseServer 5.4 2# 74d13h 0.34 2x[2.9GHz 23GB,78% 2010-07-09 08:50:16]

Color should be contained within 2x2.9GHz. How can I correct this?

This is part of the 95% working comment to you previous question ;-)

RHEL5's version of screen is missing a minor patch.

Your best bet is to add MONOCHROME=1 into ~/.byobu/status, or reduce
the number of status notifications you have enabled, or to ask Red Hat
to patch screen.

Can you help with this problem?
