Indicator for keybinding-status?

Asked by Funky Future

Is there a way to easily add an indicator that shows whether keybindings are toggled on or off?
Or would that be a feature request?

Would be a feature request, but a pretty easy and reasonable one.
Feel free to file it ;-)

Actually ...

Take a look at the Menu:<F9> ... That should change, I think, from F9
to ctrl-a-@, based on the f-keys being toggled on/off.

yes, that works of course. but F-Keys are more handy.
how would it be to, let's say, map <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+F-Key to the corresponding F-Key? or the quiet useless Windows-Key + F-Key.
is that configurable yet? have no time to check the documentation atm.
