Panic Button

I really want to give it a try, but I fear that I might mess MBR beyond my abilities of repair, thus Im reluctant.

To help the widespread adoption, a 'panic button' of some sort should be implanted; when the Configuration or Installation has failed, somehow somehow the BURG should give in to old GRUB , if thats possible. Do you think it possible?

Yeah, thanks a lot for your advice. I can implement a hot-key to switch back to old grub menu.

This feature is implemented with the latest package burg 1.98+20100126-1, it would display old menu if loading of ui fails, and you can also use the q hotkey to switch back to old menu.
