Timer vs Progress Bar

Asked by rwyarbrough

Are there plans to incorporate the old gfxmenu "timer" type functionality (fancy spinner) as an alternate progress bar in burg? (or did I sleep through that part of class?)

Thanks

Yeah, it's planned. But I'm having a vacation soon, so this may take a while.

Circular progress bar has been implemented, try the latest package burg 1.98+20100202-1. Installation guild is here:

Thanks! I downloaded and installed. I'll be testing the circular process bar soon. In the meantime, I wanted to commend you on the new packaging and the menu selector option "t". That works GREAT and is a great addition. I like the fact that burg is now all inclusive and doesn't rely on the grub-common packages, but are self contained under burg-pc and burg-common along with the burg.d burg.cfg, naming convention... makes things much cleaner imho.

Looking for the documentation on how to implement the circular process bar now. Looking forward to testing it!

Thanks again.
